In this project my task was to provide a fresh new contemporary look for two book covers, either fiction or non fiction that have already been published. The two covers are in fact a part of a series and unique to each other. I chose The Tattooist of Auschwitz and The Underground Railroad, where I looked to execute my ideas I had in mind.

The Tattooist of Auschwitz gave me an understanding of a couple who gradually fell in love and battled for their lives during their time at the concentration camp and eventually battled it out to survive together.

The Underground Railroad mainly draws attention to a young African woman who goes through a difficult and horrifying time
